About me, I was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, FL. I have been drawing, painting as far back as I can remember. I did attend an architectural drafting and design institution followed by a fashion illustration program, from which I pull certain elements and incorporate them into certain pieces.

These days I lean towards abstract expressionism where the start of a painting and the end result may have no association between these two points; all falling into place as it goes along. Inspiration comes from my many moods and a significant amount of influence comes from music and places, specifically abandoned places, decaying structures. I am attracted to things that are raw and a bit rough around the edges, maybe beautiful but not necessarily "pretty".

I formally began selling my artwork around 2010 domestically and internationally to collectors in the US, Switzerland, France, Dubai and Canada. Artwork has been featured on a home remodeling series (can’t say which one but, on HGTV).

Custom orders/commissions are always welcome, as long as they fall within the style of art that I enjoy creating.
